GALLARATE HARDCORE

Luca Bertolo observed some microscopic aspects of the ecosystem of the city, picking up, along the banks of the Arno torrent, fragments
of discarded materials, organic remains, leaves and shells. These scraps become the subjects
of a series of drawings: lyrical portraits that resemble naturalistic illustrations from the 17th century. These works, exhibited in the museum, were then printed and placed in traditional advertising spaces throughout the city of Gallarate amplifying the amazing and mysterious perception of these small fragments.
