Marzia Migliora is interested in the industrial history of Gallarate, its impressive textile production and certain aspects of its current crisis and conversion. The image of decay
and su ering brought by the abandoned buildings of bankrupt companies goes hand- in-hand with the puri cation of the waters of
the Arno torrent, which is normally polluted by industrial wastes that coloured the waters almost daily and is now home once again to domestic fauna. This process of degeneration and regeneration is the centre of an installation work and a lyrical and evocative video, shot inside the number of di erent abandoned company buildings along the river in Gallarate.
